Graduates

Age: 8 weeks-5 months

During these classes we will focus on people, dog, and handling socialization. Your pups will learn to become more comfortable around different types of people and dogs. We will discuss the types of appropriate and inappropriate play and how to interrupt inappropriate play. We will also be teaching your pup to be comfortable being handled and groomed. First 3 classes are free. Additional classes are $15.

We find that it is just as critical to teach your dog how to live in your world, but it's also important to understand how your dog experiences the environment around them.

· Socialization, appropriate/inappropriate play

· Focus, Sit, Down, Stand, Wait, Stay, Come, Loose-Leash Walking, Leave-It, Drop-It

· Jumping, biting, house training, crate training

Prerequisite: Beginner Obedience 

During this course we will introduce new commands, such as; emergency recall, place and back up. We will increase the response time and reliability on all known commands. Additionally we will begin walking in the heel position, controlling excitement, and ignoring toy and other distractions.

Prerequisite: Intermediate Obedience 

This course will continue to expand on all known commands resulting in an increase reliability as well as response time, but all will be done off leash. We continue working on walking in heel position, controlling excitement and ignoring food distractions. Several of our activities will be similar to test items on the AKC CGC Exam.
